Cameron Patterson

Pastoral Counselor

Cameron was born in central Iowa but spent the rest of his life moving around the country with his family. Name a region of the US and he’s probably lived there. He moved back to the Midwest for college, where he earned a degree in biblical studies and music from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Feeling a call to pastoral ministry, he moved to Birmingham in 2016 to pursue an M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School, which he completed in 2020. He’s an ordained minister in the PCA. He has a heart for serving Christ, His people, and His church with the good news of Jesus and the freedom He brings.

Cameron and his wife, Ann Mathews, are the proud parents of three lovely dogs and are expecting their first human child very soon. Cam (as many call him) loves brewing good coffee, building just about anything with wood, and cracking dad jokes.

Cameron specializes in pastoral counseling for men walking through various challenges such as addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, moving/relocation, use of pornography, and vocational issues.
