unbound grace: YEAR-END SUMMARY

A parent recently shared these comments with me:

“When our son’s struggle with substance abuse surfaced, our family was confronted with what now seems so obvious, that recovery is more than getting him help – more than learning a few tricks and some helpful ways to ‘just say no.’ He connected with you because he knew you cared about him and could understand how he felt. Only a parent that has experienced the humbling joy of having their ‘prodigal son’ return can understand our gratitude for Unbound Grace.”

Unbound Grace is an arm of the church that points people bound by addiction to God’s unbound grace through discipleship, counseling and community – we share the hope of Christ with hurting people. God has allowed us to be a critical part of the journey toward restoration, redemption and rescue for many people. Over the course of 2019 we have seen broken marriages reunite, prodigals return home, seeds of faith blossom and many other examples of God changing lives and restoring families. We have faith that God will continue His work through Unbound Grace in 2020.

IN 2019…

your support allowed us to average: 20 weekly, one-on-one intensive discipleship meetings; 63 monthly, one-on-one and family meetings; 97 monthly, 10-15 minute meetings focused on sharing the Gospel to people seeking medical treatment for their substance addiction, several presentations and ministry to large groups. That equates to 240 times a month the Gospel is shared through relationship to people confronting their brokenness!

IN 2020…

we anticipate hiring a female to partner with us in serving women and families fighting addiction (a HUGE need in the addiction world). Our scope of ministry continues to grow – imagine what your investment will allow Unbound Grace to do! Pray for us as we experience the joys and challenges of an over-abundant and ever-increasing pool of people seeking help from Unbound Grace.
